Located in the CBD area of the East Third Ring Road in Beijing, the fishing net shaped irregular skin design of the Conrad Hotel building is very prominent, which is novel and unique in the surrounding orderly buildings. This is the first super five-star hotel invested by China Merchants real estate in China. In the design and construction of the hotel, the designers strive to integrate the century old culture accumulated by China Merchants Group with the unique modern temperament of Conrad Hotel.
In the reception hall of the hotel, the interior designer used a lot of exquisite and precious finishing materials. The ceiling top finish used imported wall cloth with metallic luster texture. The LED downlight installation here is not suitable for hidden frame lamps, otherwise the gaps around the lamps will be formed due to manual openings; The central ceiling has a square groove. After communicating with the interior designer, it is suggested to use rose gold mirror stainless steel in the groove, which can effectively prevent uncomfortable light spots.
In the lobby bar area, in addition to the theme welcome wall with high front, there are art decorative walls in the rest areas on both sides. The designer cut light in the light slots behind the background walls on both sides. The art wall is divided into two levels. Close to the inside is a special decorative surface of wall cloth, and close to the outside is art sculpture and art painting. The designer uses the cutting light technology to evenly wash the wall cloth from top to bottom. Because the illuminated surface is wall cloth, there is no need to worry that the light line in the groove cannot be illuminated.
The designer used a circular open frame embedded downlight with an interval of 400mm to make a horizontal I-shaped array, overlapping the light spots of the two adjacent lights, so that the light is evenly arranged and washed down. At the same time, communicate with the interior design to adjust the size of the light slot shading plate and the included angle of the lamp installation, because considering that there is a group of sofas under the light slot, if the light control angle is not strictly calculated, it will cause unnecessary glare and discomfort to the guests sitting on the sofa.
The works of art in the hotel are all custom-made products with unified styles and different techniques and materials. One of the more artistic pieces is the fish shaped intention sculpture in the center of the lobby bar. The sculpture is made of five tropical fish of different sizes, all of which are manually welded with rusted metal wires.
The multi-function hall of the hotel is composed of two or three independent meetings, which can be flexibly combined according to the needs of customers, and the lighting system will cooperate with different atmospheres such as meetings, banquets and activities, and provide comprehensive space lighting or local key lighting according to the needs of different scenes. The remote control projection lamp on the top can be arranged according to the specific activities to meet the stringent requirements of light positioning and debugging. Everything is what you want.

The lighting design also strives to make a perfect interpretation of the design details incisively and vividly. During the flow of light and shadow, oriental aesthetics is cleverly contained in every highly styled decorative language, whether it is the ink screen full of stories in the lobby, the facade modeling with classical nostalgic flavor of the whole day meal, or the silk texture wall of the Chinese restaurant.
